See a reading task

A comprehension task in Elephant's reading practice: tabs for Comprehension, Sentence Order and Insert a Sentence, a curriculum level filter, a Level 1 Beginner Korean passage about a grandmother's birthday party, and question 1 of 4 asking for the best title with four Korean answer options.
A full passage, a level filter, and questions that need the whole text.

Three ways to read actively

Comprehension asks questions about a complete passage. Sentence Order breaks a passage into sections for you to restore. Insert a Sentence asks where one missing sentence belongs in the surrounding text.

Each mode makes you follow meaning and structure across multiple sentences instead of translating one line in isolation.

Corpus-based passage practice

Comprehension uses approved passages and questions. Sentence Order and Insert a Sentence materialize fresh variants from approved, orderable passages. A level filter narrows the eligible corpus without widening it when a level has limited material.

Because Reading Practice is in alpha, some levels or modes may have limited material while the passage corpus grows.
